Robotics:

No prior robotic Experience needed. Come, Play, Win and have Fun.
Participants will learn the Basics of Programming the Robot.
Seats are Limited and are available on First-Come-First-Serve basis.
We encourage Pre-Registration and Payment to guarantee a slot for the Participant.

Levels:

Three Demo Robots

  1. Level 1 (Grade 1-2): Kids will use Lego® and simple-to-use tool that enables students to learn, construct and bring their models to life with a cross-curricular programming, across different subjects at primary levels of STEM.
    • After the lesson, Participants will build, program, test and investigate solutions in the workshop followed by the game.

     

  2. Level 2 (Grade 3-5): Kids will learn the beginning level of the robotics programming using Lego® machines, incorporate sensors and apply STEM programming concepts.
    • After the lesson, Participants will build, program, test and investigate solutions in the workshop followed by the game.

     

  3. Level 3 (Grade 6-8): Kids will learn the advance level of the robotics programming using Lego ® machines, incorporate sensors and apply STEM programming concepts.
    • After the lesson, Participants will build, program, test and investigate solutions in the workshop followed by the game.

Two Demo Robots

Format of the workshop and the Final Competition:
  1. All Participants will attend a 1.5 hour Session. During a Session the participant will learn how to program a robot.
  2. Following which, there will be a Game round in which the Participant will be required to Program their Robot to complete a given task.
  3. Winners from Each Session will advance to participate in the Final Competition.
  4. There will be Prizes for the Winners for each Level.
  5. Each level’s team size is 2-3 participants
  6. Selection of the group entering the competition will be based on the Game round
  7. Instant challenges will be given for the Final Competition
  8. This is a fun competition to make new friend and work as a team.
  9. Prizes will be awarded by the Convention Committee (Note: This is not an OSA award).
