Poem By Tamanna Das Mohapatra

I am a competitive swimmer
I wonder if I will win
I hear the warm water splashing while I swim
I see my phenomenal family
I want to be in the Olympics
I am a competitive swimmer

I pretend to dive in to the deepm warm, blue water
I feel the sparkly, blue waves
I touch the pole
I worry I am going to lose
I cry because I make terrible mistake

I comprehend I can not always win
I say I will try my best
I dream I will be famous
I try my very best
I whope I win
I am a competitive swimmer
